Three Indian Startups Receive Funding from IN-SPACe

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has announced the first beneficiaries of its Technology Adoption Fund (TAF), launched in February 2026 with a budget of Rs 500 crore. The three selected startups are Bengaluru-based Astrobase Space Technologies, SatSure Analytics India, and Hyderabad-based TM2SPACE Technologies. Each company has proposed innovative projects aimed at advancing India's space capabilities. Astrobase will focus on developing an 800-kN reusable liquid rocket engine. SatSure Analytics India plans to create Dhaarini, an AI-based Earth observation model to assist in agriculture, infrastructure, and disaster management. TM2SPACE will work on an indigenous AI-powered star tracker system. The funding will cover up to 60% of the project costs, with a maximum of Rs 25 crore allocated per project.
